The forensics teams of North Dakota State University and Concordia College cordially invite you to the Talk of the Tundra Swing hosted on the campuses of NDSU in Fargo, North Dakota on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 and Concordia College across the river in Moorhead, Minnesota on Sunday Oct. 4, 2015. Each tournament will honor the work of Dr. Robert Littlefield, NDSU and Drs. Cynthia Carver and Cindy Larson-Casselton, Concordia, who have contributed greatly to the activity through their research, service and coaching.  These tournaments are designed to provide a good first experience for novice competitors with pacing, pedagogy, health and competition in mind.

We invite you to join us for a weekend of competition featuring two complete individual event tournaments with 11 AFA-NIET and one parliamentary debate tournament with 3 preliminary rounds. Each individual events tournament (The Robert Littllefield on Saturday and The Cindys on Sunday) will include two preliminary rounds and a final round. NPDA will include 3 preliminary rounds on Saturday and out-rounds as needed on Sunday.

The patterns are as follows:

Pattern A       Imp, Info, Pro, Duo, Persuade

Pattern B       Extemp, POI, CA, ADS, DI, Poe

*Extemp rounds begin 15 minutes after other events in the flight. Triple-entered Extempers may be asked to compete in another event first, and draw last, to facilitate tournament flow.
