Edison Tournament
General information This information is from a tournament in a past season! This is a High School tournament in Ohio. View manager contact information Greetings from the North Coast of Ohio. Edison High School invites you to attend its 21st Annual All Events Speech and Debate Tournament on Saturday, October 31, 2015. We are on the western fringe of the Greater Cleveland District, but easy to find! From the east, take 90W to Rt 2 West. Pass the Lorain/Elyria and Vermilion exits. Exit on Rt 61 Berlin Heights and turn left (south) onto 61. You go through the village of Berlin Heights- watch your speed- and at the next flashing light intersection (Rt 113) turn right. Continue on Rt. 113 for 7 miles. From Toledo and the Turnpike: Get off at the 250 Sandusky exit. Turn south onto Rt 250 toward Norwalk. Turn east onto Rt 113 (left hand turn). Go through the village of Milan (watch your speed here also!). Edison is 3 miles down Rt 113. We have a limited supply of judges for hire at $25 per judge. Reserve them early! All money received via hired judges goes to our speech and debate club scholarship fund. Please e-mail me if you need one or more of those hired judges! We are also offering Bible Interpretation for a second year. If intersted in competing, I will send you the rules and regulations as well as the selection of readings from which your students can choose. This is a five minute category, so you may double enter Bible Interp with any other IE entry except USX and IX. There is no other double entry possibility. The registration fee is $3.00 per student entered. Please bring cash or check. My treasurer abhors Purchase Orders! LD and PF use the November topics. Policy debates curtailing domestic surveillance.
