The Southern and Northern Atlantic Forensic Union cordially invite you and your students to attend the SNAFU #4 Swing, October 31/November 1, 2015.   Both tournaments will take place in West Chester, Pennsylvania on the campus of West Chester University.  We will offer all 11 AFA events at both halves of the swing, as well as Parliamentary Debate on Sunday.  What follows is information that should make your trip to the swing easier to plan:

ENTRY INFORMATION
 
 1. Teams are limited to 6 entries per event.
 2. Students may enter a maximum of 3 events per bracket; 2 duos count as 2 events.
 3. The deadline for entry is Wednesday, October 28, 2015  at 5pm eastern.
 4. Entry fees are $8 per event slot.
 5. Please provide a qualified judge for every eight IE event slots, and every two debate teams.
 6. Hired judges are available at $10 per uncovered IE slot, and $40 for each uncovered debate team.
 7. Drop fees are original entry fee plus $10 penalty after entry deadline until 5 pm on Friday, afterwards $25 up through registration.
 8. Dropped judges after the entry deadline will each be assessed a $100 fee in addition to standard judge fees.
 9. To register for the SNAFU portion, please go to www.speechwire.com, scroll down to �SNAFU #4 at Seton Hall University and request a password to submit your entry. You should receive by email your password information and can then enter your students and judges at the Speechwire website. You will receive a confirmation email detailing your entry at 6pm on 11/28/2014. Please be sure to check the entry you submitted and immediately correct any errors directly at the Speechwire website.
 
 COMPETITION AND AWARDS
 
1. The SNAFU tournament will offer 2 rounds of preliminary competition in IEs and 4 rounds of preliminary competition in debate, plus a final in each event.
2. Any event with more than 50 entries competing in both preliminary rounds will feature a semifinal round.
3. We will offer an award for the top six entries in each individual event (two awards for duos).
4. The top three individual sweeps winners will each receive an award (students must be entered in four events to be eligible).
5. The top three schools in Open and Limited divisions will each receive an award.
6. We will use AFA-style rules and tabulation.
