Time:  First round starts 8:30 am; Extemp Rd. 1 draw is 8:00 am.
 
Format:  Four straight rounds of competition
 
Events offered:  Broadcasting, Declamation, Discussion, DX, FX, Dramatic, Humorous, Impromptu, Prose, Poetry, Original Oratory, Original Performance, Memorized Duo, Scripted Duo, Improv Duo, Congress
 
DOUBLING permitted in all events, except Discussion and Congress.  Doublers in Broadcasting should go to broadcasting FIRST.  Doublers in Impromptu should go to impromptu LAST.  All doublers double at their OWN RISK!
 
TRIPLING is permitted ONLY if Improv Duo is the third event.  Duo partners may double/triple in Improv Duo but not another duo or OP duo.
 
Discussion artifacts will be released the Monday before the meet on Speechwire.
 
Radio information:  Rd. 1 Newscast; Rd. 2 Commercial; Rd. 3 Editorial; Rd. 4 Breaking News Bulletin (cold read).  Newscast should be two minutes and prepared ahead, Commerical and Editorial prompts will be posted on Speechwire the Monday before competition.  Commercial should be 1 minute and editorial should be 2 minutes.
 
CONGRESS:  Congress will debate bills/resolutions 3, 6, 7, and 12.
 
Team information:  Teams may bring a maximum of 55 total entries to the meet, with a maximum of five (5) entries per event.
 
Judges:  Please provide one judge for every five (5) entries or fraction thereof.  Five (5) entries=1 judge; ten (10) entries=2 judges; eleven (11) entries=3 judges.
 
Concessions will be available throughout the day.  Please feel free to eat with us, as fast food is at least a mile away and we will need help defraying the costs of running the meet.
 
Ribbons will be awarded for the top 10 in each event, with sweepstakes points as follows:  1st-10pts, 2nd-9pts, 3rd-8pts, etc.  Trophies will be awarded to the top 10 entered schools based on total sweeps.
 
Registration will be through SpeechWire.
 
Deadline for entry submissions—Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 5pm.
