Dear Speech Coaches:
You and your students are invited to attend the 2015 Trojan Tournament! We are excited about hosting and look forward to having you! All junior and senior high students are welcome. This is a three round tournament and we will have a great day!
Date: Saturday, February 7th, 2015
Schedule: 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Registration in Lobby
9:00 a.m. Draws for Round I
9:30 a.m. Round I All Events
10:30 a.m. Draw Round II
11:00 a.m. Round II All Events
12:30 p.m. Round III All events (Draws repeat Rd.1 or Rd. 2)
2:30 p.m. Awards!
Registration: You may bring as many students as you like and double entries are allowed except in the draw categories.
Judges: Please provide one judge for every 6 entries or fraction thereof. No hired judges will be available. There will be lunch for the judges in the lounge.
Fees: $6.00 per entry. Duo pairs $12.00. Make checks payable to Worthington High School Speech Team.
Concessions: We will have pizza, pop, candy and other things available from 11:00 to 2:00. There will not be time to leave the building for lunch.
Awards: Trophies for 1st through 3rd and ribbons going to 4th – 6th and reds and blues for those that are close! Sweepstakes trophies awarded to the top 4 schools.
Parking: Please enter through the Lobby doors close to the gym. Buses may park in the north lot. Students may leave personal items in the gym.
Draws: We will be using all stories for Storytelling and Extemporaneous Reading.
