Minnewaska Area Schools 7-12 Speech Invitational

Saturday, February 7^th

Dear Speech Coaches,

The Minnewaska Area speech team would like to invite you to a 7-12 invitational on Saturday, February 7^th at Minnewaska Area High School. This competition is for Junior and Senior high team members, in all 13 categories. Awards will be three team trophies, first through sixth ribbons/pins.

Cost will be $4.50 per entry with double entries allowed. Please make your checks out to Minnewaska Area Schools. Please provide one judge per every seven entries.

Schedule:       

8:00- 8:30 am  Registration-By district office

8:30 am           Draws begin for round I; media center

8:40 am           Judges meeting

9 am                Round I

10 am              Draws for round II; media center

10:30 am         Round II

11:30 am         Draws for round III; media center

12:00 pm         Round III

2 pm                Awards in the Main Gym

Registration deadline will be Wednesday, January 28^th. Drop/Add deadline will be Tuesday, February 3^rd, with no refunds after the 3^rd. Food will be available for the students to purchase, and there will be food provided for judges and coaches in the judges’ room and cafeteria.

The Minnewaska speech team looks forward to seeing all of you on February 7^th.
