TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE: We will run three (3) Preliminary Rounds and one (1) Final Round with the top 6 qualifiers from Prelims and ties (up to 9) advancing to Finals.  Should more than 9 advance to Finals, we will run a "Next-in" Final judged by one judge.

ENTRY FEES (JUDGES TO BRING):  Please make checks payable to Metea Valley High School.

0-14 entries = $100 (3 judges)

15-28 entries = $150 (5 judges)

29-42 entires = $200 (7 judges)

43-56 entries = $250 (8 judges)

ES and RS PREP: This will be located in the LMC and students will prep once for Prelims and once for Finals.  ES speakers will choose fom one of three random questions in each round - including Finals.

IMPROMPTU: IHSA State guidelines for IS will be the format - 2-minute prep, 6-minute speaking.  Each round - including Finals - will have three different prompts from which to choose.

STUDENT DROPOFF: We ask that you have your kids dropped off at the southeast doors of the building; this will help lessen the traffic flow, as we will have a Theater event going on in the Auditorium in the morning.
