Event: Raise Your Voice! Speech event

Date: Saturday, October 4

Location: Ivy Tech Community College, 1 Ivy Way, Logansport

Events: There will be four straight rounds of each event.  Events will include Dramatic and Humorous Interp, Duo, Prose, Poetry, Original Performance, Original Oratory, Impromptu, U.S. Extemp, and Broadcasting (Radio).  Some events may be combined (e.g. Prose/Poetry, Dramatic/Humorous Interp) dependent upon registration.

Participants: Open to all high schools in the Ivy Tech - Kokomo Region footprint, including Howard, Tipton, Miami, Cass, Wabash, Fulton, and Pulaski Counties.  All levels of competitors are welcome for this event.

Schedule:

• Registration: 7:30 -8:15 A.M.
• Welcome and Announcements: 8:15 - 8:30 A.M.
• Round 1: 8:30 - 10:00 A.M.
• Round 2: 10:00 - 11:30 A.M.
• Lunch Break: 11:30 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
• Round 3: 12:00 - 1:30 P.M.
• Round 4: 1:30 - 3:00 P.M.
• Awards and Conclusion: 3:00 - 3:30 P.M.

Fees/Cost: There is NO registration fee for this event and lunch will also be provided.  This event (including registration and lunch) is made possible by funds from the Ivy Tech Community College Foundation - Logansport Campus.
