EVENTS: All 14 IHSA individual speech events.
ENTRIES: Each contestant may enter one or two events.
I am going to try and accommodate everyone’s extras, but because I am asking everyone to register on SpeechWire
Also, please submit 5 extemp and 5 impromptu topics through SpeechWire.
JUDGES: Each school must supply one judge for each five entries up to a total of four judges for 28 entries. More than 28 entries will call for more judges. I am going to have just enough judges to cover my own entries, so we can’t provide any for you.
LUNCH: A concession stand will be available in the cafeteria area provided by Speech Parents. We have all sorts of treats for breakfast and lunch.
FEES:
• $150.00 - for teams with 32 entries or less. $200.00 - for teams with more than 32 entries.
• Make checks payable to Byron High School (BHS) and addressed to: Dirk Palmer 696 North Colfax Byron, IL 61010
• If numbers permit, we may be able to take extras (you will be expected to pay a little extra and bring another judge).
