Dear Coaches:

This is your invitation to attend the SWSC Varsity Tournament being held at Thornton High School on Saturday, December 20, 2014. This will be a three (3) round tournament with a final round for varsity competitors only.

ENTRY: You may enter two (2) competitors in each event for a total of 28 entries.

JUDGES: One (1) judge for each five (5) entries or fraction thereof (maximum of 5). You are responsible for the number of judges needed based on your original entry. There will be one (1) judge per event for Rounds 1-3 and 3 judges per event for the Final Round. Round I Extemp and Round II Radio have two (2) judges so each contestant has three (3) evaluations.

FOOD
No food will be allowed outside of the Cafeteria. Please help us keep our rooms clean! The Cafeteria will provide breakfast, lunch, and snack concessions all day.

RULES
Please see SWSC By-Laws for complete rules.

All IHSA Rules will be followed except for the following:
EXTEMP-Extemp speakers will prep twice for prelims and speack twice.  One round will be double judged. Final round qualifiers will prep a third time.
       All Extemp speakers will be double-judged in Round 1.
RADIO--Radio speakers will prep twice for prelims. Final round qualifiers will prep a third time.
       All Radio speakers will be double-judged in Round 2.
