This is a Middle School tournament in Minnesota.

Jordan Jr. High Tournament:   Thursday, February 20^th.

There will be three rounds without finals beginning at 3:45.  It is our goal to have everyone on the road before 8:30.  Teams will report the commons for home base.  Concessions will be available there.  Awards will be in the gymnasium.

ENTRIES:   

All entries are $4.  Registration will be held from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.  Registration materials can be found at the main entrance.

Entry Deadline:   

Please submit your initial entries by Monday, February 17, 2014 on SPEECHWIRE.  

Please make necessary drops/adds by Thursday, February 20th at 8:00 am on SPEECHWIRE, or call or text me at 952-393-8989.

Last minute drops should be made via speechwire by 2:30pm on Thursday, February 20th.

Special Instructions

STORYTELLING:  CONTESTANTS WILL DELIVER A DIFFERENT STORY OF THEIR CHOOSING EACH ROUND.
EX READING: CONTESTANTS WILL DELIVER A DIFFERENT READING OF THEIR CHOOSING EACH ROUND.
EX SPEAKING: You will be given a set of questions and choose a different question for each round

DISCO:  Tasks will be posted on Speechwire the week of the tournament.  They will come from Section II.

FOOD
A concession stand will be available with a variety of food, including pizza.

JUDGES
Your school must provide one judge for every six entries or fraction thereof.  Please indicate the judge’s preference on the registration form.  Experienced senior high speech members may be used as judges.  If you need a judge, let us know in advance, we may have extra judges available that day.  The cost for a judge is $15.00. Judges/coaches Lounge will be in the FACS room, N116.
