Registration Limits

-Maximum of 25 entries per team.

-Maximum of 4 entries per category.

-Single entry only.

Judges

-Judges should also be registered on www.speechwire.com

-Each school is asked to provide 1 competent judge for every 5 entries or fraction thereof. (For example: 1-5 entries=1 judge, 6-10 entries=2 judges, etc. )

-$7.00 Individual entries

-$10.00 Group entries

-$100.00 Uncovered judge

8:15 Judges’ Meeting in Harwood Memorial Union

8:30         Radio/Extemp Draw Begins

9:00         Round I

10:15       Round II

11:30      Round III

1:30         Semi Final Rounds

3:30         Final Round

5:30 Awards Ceremony in Storzer Athletic Center

Awards

-Plaques are presented to the top six competitors in each event.

-Awards are presented to semi-finalists.

-Trophies are presented to the top six teams in each of three divisions. (Please see WFCA bylaws for information on team divisions.)

Timelines

-Sunday, March 16 Speechwire opens for registration

-Saturday, March 22, 5:00 pm Deadline for registration in Speechwire

-Thursday, March 27, 5:00 pm Speechwire closes to changes

-Friday, March 28 All changes/drops must be emailed to Tournament Directors

Updates

-Additional information will be emailed by Friday, March 28 to head coaches. This will include: school codes, site maps, student drop off procedures, etc.
