Greetings everyone,
I'm pleased to officially open registration for the MDL Middle School Season Opener, to be held Saturday, November 2nd at Rufus King Middle School. Below, you'll find details about the tournament, as well as a schedule (attached).

Date: Saturday, November 2, 2013
Time: 9:00AM - 4:30PM
*Registration Opens at 8AM, Round 1 at 9AM
Registration Deadline: Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 7PM. This is a soft deadline, but we hope to have a very good idea of how many students are attending by Tuesday evening, even if there are a few changes between Tuesday and the tournament on Saturday.
How to Register: To register, use the link found in the invitation sent to your program by SpeechWire. You will only have received this invitation if you have already created a SpeechWire account. Once you've signed-in, you'll be able officially register, input your students' names and partnerships, and register judges who are planning to attend.
SpeechWire: If you don't have a SpeechWire account, you'll need to create one for your school. To do so, go to SpeechWire.com and select "Your Account" from the top menu. Or just click here to log-in or create an account. Let me know if you have any SpeechWire-related issues -- I'd be happy to help you trouble shoot any problems you're having.
Schedule: Find it attached to this email. Can be found online at debatemilwaukee.org/events
Permission Forms: A reminder that all students must submit a completed permission form to MDL staff in order to attend. This is good for the year.
Meals: Students will be provided with a free breakfast and lunch. Breakfast will include fruit, bagels, juice and granola bars (and will be served during the registration period from 8AM-9AM). Lunch will include subs from Cousin's Subs, chips, water/juice and a cookie.
