Concord High School Steve Kirkpatrick Memorial Speech Tournament
November 16, 2013

The Concord High School Speech Team invites you to the Steve Kirkpatrick Memorial Speech Tournament on Saturday, November 16, 2013.  The tournament will include both novice and varsity divisions in all 14 IHSFA speech events as well as Congressional Debate.  Divisions may be combined if numbers warrant doing so, but separate awards will be given.

Entries:       There are no caps on entries in either division. However, only the top 4 placers from each team in each event will be counted toward sweepstakes points.

Doubling: All events except discussion and congress may double at their own risk.  Both duo partners may double but not in another duo.

Judges:
Speech: Please bring one judge for every 5 entries or fraction (6 entries=2 judges). Note- speech judges may be asked to judge Congress.  The head coach is expected to judge and be listed as the 1st judge on the entry.

Congress: 1 judge for entering congress regardless of the number you enter. May be asked to judge speech.  **IF you have an adult who would be willing to serve as a parliamentarian, please let me know. I would appreciate it.**
