Saturday March 16, Muskego is Hosting a Forensics Tournament and… IT’S ABOUT TIME!!!
Whether you travel by TARDIS, DeLorean, the classic H.G. Wells Time Machine, or even a Big Yellow School Bus…we hope that you will make TIME to head out to Muskego and compete at our tournament co-hosted by Wauwatosa East!
Where: Muskego High School W183 S8750 Racine Ave. Muskego, WI 53150 (Enter at the main doors along Racine Ave.)
Entries: Your team may submit up to eight entries in each event. Your top 25 entries (up to four in an event) will be ussed to calculate team awards. No double entries.
Registration: We’ll be using the SpeechWire registration and tabulation
software system. This is the ONLY way to register for our tournament. To register your team, visit: www.speechwire.com
A fee of $9.00 for each individual entry and $12 for group entry (Duo, Group Interp, Play Acting). Entry fees are per entry, not per student. Fees will be based on your confirmed entries.
Deadline: You must register via SpeechWire by Friday, March 8th by 5:00pm. Teams can and should manage their own drops on Speechwire.com until 4:00pm, Thursday, March 7th.
After that point, email drops to Joseph.Meinecke@muskegonorway.org at your earliest possible convenience. Entries dropped after that time will still be charged. Day of tournament drops are strongly discouraged.
ABSOLUTELY NO ADDS WILL BE ALLOWED AFTER THE DEADLINE OR DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT
Categories: WFCA rules and categories will be used. Congress will not be offered.
Awards: The top three large teams (19-25 entries) and the top three small teams (9-18 entries) will receive team awards. Finalists will receive medals or (if in the top three in the category) trophies.
Judges: Schools must provide one judge for every five (or fraction thereof) entries. A limited number of hired judges will be available at a cost of $110 each.
Food: Lunch will be sold once round three is finished. Cousin’s will be selling subs for $5 (Veggie, Turkey, Ham), and Figaro’s Pizza will be selling pizza slices for $2. Soda will also be available for sale for $1 a can. Or also please feel free to bring your own lunch – but please note:
