Dear Colleague,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the O’Neill High School T-shirt Speech Invitational on March 5, 2013. We hope to provide you and your students a day of quality competition, learning, and fun.  Competition:  Competition will include a Varsity division only in all NSAA sanctioned events.  There will be two rounds and NO finals with events. Awards: The champion in each event will recieve a t-shirt and 2nd-6th place will receive certificates. There will be no team trophies.  Fees: The fee for each entry is $8.00. For every six entries, you must provide one judge to cover them. For each uncovered slot, a fee of $10.00 will be charged to your overall entry. Please make an attempt to bring judges with you, as our judging pool of experienced hired judges is limited. Registration through SpeechWire will close on February 25 @ 12 p.m.. The e-mail you received via this will help you too. Drop Deadlines: You may make drops without changes to your entry fees until 10:00 am March 1. After that, entry fees are frozen. If at all possible, I would like all potential drops/substitutions(No Adds) by 4:00 pm February 24th.

1:30-1:50 > Registration in Student Lounge

2:00 > Round 1A (Serious, Persuasive, Entertainment, Poetry, OID)

3:30 > Round 1B(Humorous, Informative, Extemporaneous, Duet)

5:00 > Round 2A 

6:30 > Round 2B

8:00 or ASAP- > Awards--Gymnasium

Food: There will be Judges/Coaches lounge available throughout the day. We are currently making arrangements for feeding students and observers throughout the day. Courtesy: Unless a competitor is double entered or has to draw for extemp, it is expected that they’ll stay and watch the entire round to be considerate listeners and audience members.
