Dear Speech Coach,

Huntley High School is proud to invite you to its 2012 Winter Classic which we are co-hosting with Rolling Meadows.  We will have an open division contest which for novices and varsity on  December 15th. 

1. Team awards will be given to the top three schools based on final round scoring.

Each school may bring three entries total per event.  The Entry fee of $150 is for up to three total entries per event. Any school needing a fourth entry the fee is $200.

2. Please bring one judge for every six entries or fraction there of, with a maximum of six judges.
3. Radio will prep once for prelims and once for finals
4. Extemp will prep once for prelims and once for finals. 
5. Experienced students may enter three events.
6. Preliminary entries must be received no later than December 1^st, 2012
7. Please submit at least 10 Extemp and Impromptu topics with your preliminary entry.
8. A limited number of hired judges are available for a fee of $125 per judge.  No hired judges will be available after the entry deadline!
9. Novices will complete in varsity rounds during prelims.  The top six novice entries not advancing to varsity finals will compete in the novice final round.
10. Confirmations will be emailed as entries are received.
11. Schools should enter the contest through speech wire if at all possible
12. Neither fees nor required judges will be reduced based on drops after the original entry is received. 
13. Schools that host and provide Huntley/Rolling Meadows with additional entries will be provided with additional slots as needed. Schools with additional entries will need to pay additional fees

7:00-8:00 Registration in the hall outside of door #1

8:30:        Extemp and Radio Prep

8:00:        Round I      

9:15:        Round II

      10:30:      Round III

11:45:      Round IV

1:45:        Finals in all events

3:45        Awards in Cafeteria
