Dear Colleagues,

The Caddo Parish Magent High School Deabte Team cordially invites you and your students to attend the Mustang Classic to be held on Friday January 11thand Saturday January 12th. All Events with 6 entries will qualify for the LHSSL Tournament of Champions. Awards will be presented to all students who place high enouhg to recieve a bid to state.

Please send any 3rd year Junior Debaters that you think would make good judges. We would love for our novice teams to get experienced deabte judges if possible.

Finally, please note that due to scheduling conflicts, the tournament will take place at Caddo Middle Magnet, but will be hosted and ran by the CMHS students. Caddo Middle Magnet is located at 7635 Cornelious Lane  Shreveport, LA 71106.

Deadlines:

Drop/Add deadline:  2 pm, Wed., Jan 9th

Judges:

1 judge per every 3 debate teams

1 judge per every 10 IE entries

Traveling schools may buy out their judging obligations at the cost of $60 per judge.

Fees:

$10 per 2 person event

 $5 per LD or IE entry

Directions:

The tournament will be held at Caddo Middle Magnet School. From I-49 Exit E. 70. Street. Head East. Take a Right on Line Avenue. Take a Left on  Turner and Right on Cornelius.

Division changes:

In the event that numbers warrant a collapsing of divisions or cancellation of an event we will notify you by email.  Please include your email address with the entry.  IE divisions with less than 10 entries will run 3 rounds and place off of cumulative records.
